James “Jimmy” Jacobs began his financial services career in 1971 and will soon celebrate 50 years in the industry. After 47 years with AXA, he joined The Leaders Group in 2018, transferring over 2,000 policyholders. Take a moment to view Jimmy Jacobs’ presentation on growth via variable life insurance. James A. “Jimmy” Jacobs, CLU, ChFC began his financial services career with Equitable Life Assurance Society of U.S. (now Equitable), January 1971. In January 2021, he will celebrate 50 years in the financial services business.

After 47 years with AXA, he fully retired from AXA in September 2018, affiliated with Pinnacle and joined The Leaders Group, transferring over 2,000 policyholders.

When he left AXA, Jimmy ranked among the top 25 in lifetime production among all AXA associates in the history of the company. In his first full year with The Leaders Group, Jimmy finished 3rd among 300 retail producers and for 2020, he is currently ranked 4th.

His company, Milestone Financial Solutions, employs five staff people. Brandon Smith, MBA, LUTCF is his junior associate.

During his career, he has been extremely active in the industry: NAIFA member for 49 years, MDRT for 48 years, and American Society of Financial Professionals (ASFP) since 1976. He served on the Life Foundation Board from 2007-2011. He is also a member of the Forum 400 and Life and Qualifying Member of Top of the Table division of MDRT.

Jimmy has spoken to numerous Life Underwriters groups throughout the United States and Canada, including Million Dollar Roundtable seven times, Top of the Table and NAIFA main platform in 2015.

Over the years, Jimmy has also been active in the community. Serving on Kiwanis, United Way, YMCA along with coordinating three high school mega reunions. Currently he is a member of the Chesterfield Arts Foundation Board which oversights the new $17.5 million Chesterfield Baxter Perkinson Arts Center scheduled to open in December 2020.
Jimmy and his wife, Isabel have two married children and three grandchildren. Their son, Stephen, and his family live in Longmont, Colorado.

Micah Hesting joined The Leaders Group in July 2015 as an Advisor Liaison. Previous to his employment at The Leaders Group, Micah spent 7 1/2 years at Jackson National as an internal wholesaler for their variable annuity product line with just under 1 billion in sales. Micah holds his series 6, 63, CFS, as well as Colorado Resident Producer License for Life and Variable Products.

He resides in Centennial, Colorado with his wife Genel, daughter Reese, and stepson Ashton. As a former athlete, Micah enjoys staying active, working out, going to Reese’s and Ashton’s athletic events, as well as coaching them at home in his free time.
